Get Rid of That Dry Cough Tea:

Coughing can be so annoying, especially if it isn’t producing anything. For a dry cough, this tea provides marshmallow root, which is recommended as an expectorant. Licorice adds a sweet taste and a potential anti-inflammatory response.

*This tea contains licorice, which is not to be taken if a person has high blood pressure or is taking digoxin-based drugs or has a rapid heartbeat. Please discuss with your doctor before consuming new herbs.

To make:

This tea is best made by adding 1 tsp tea to 8 oz water and heating both in a pan to boiling. Simmer 8-10 minutes, then strain and enjoy, adding sweetener as desired. It can also be made (less strong) by adding 1-2 tsp tea to 8 oz boiling water, covered, and steep for 10 minutes. Strain and drink.

Ingredients:

Organic marshmallow root, licorice root, coltsfoot leaf, organic anise seed
